Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside

This week we went to a caravan near Hornsea, I love being by the sea, there is something so relaxing and calming and therapeutic about staring at the sea, watching the water, listening to the waves, whiling away the hours, breathing in the Coastal breeze, Britain has some fabulous Seasides and you can’t beat it, fish and chips, good sea air …bliss.

It was fabulous watching the children delight in the seaside too, and be old enough to really enjoy the exploration and freedom and excitement of paddling in the sea, running in and out of the waves and collecting and skimming stones, making sandcastles, digging holes and having such good natural free play, something children nowadays don’t get enough of, we could have stayed all day if the tide hadn’t come in. Hornsea itself was such a lovely place too with a museum, lovely gift shops and we even found a vintage tearoom.lovely ..
